Alpine Verification Meeting 2013

The AVM is a meeting on current problems in formal verification. The goal of the meeting is to bring together researchers from the region to update each other on their research, to have time for discussion, also on possible collaborations. The meeting is open to the public.

AVM 2013 will take place at Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) in Trento, Italy, from May 27th to May 29th, 2013.

AVM will take place at the Scientific and Technological Hub of FBK.

Programme

The program will consist of:

  • Two invited talks, by:
    • Andrey Rybalchenko (Microsoft Research and TU Munich), and
    • Roberto Sebastiani (Univ. of Trento);
  • A number of presentations given by Ph.D. students;
  • An "alpine" social event.

A substantial amount of the program will be reserved for discussion, feedback and interaction among participants.

Social Event

The social dinner will be held on May 28th at the "Tana dell'Ermellino", located on the "Altopiano della Paganella" in the middle of "Dolomiti del Brenta": La Tana dell'Ermellino is located in the fascinating landscape of Altopiano della Paganella and is surrounded by the charming atmosphere of the Dolomiti di Brenta mountains. It is a place where you will find friendly and homely hospitality.

The structure is characterized by the typical charm of mountain huts with handcarved wooden furnishings so as to make guests feel like at home in a cosy and comfortable setting. The unique atmosphere and the well-finished location mixed with the professionalism of our staff will make your stay unforgettable. The kitchen offers traditional local dishes, among which tortel di patate, a regional speciality made with roasted potatoes. Worth mentioning is the refined selection of local and national wines. The registration for AVM'13 is still open, but there are only a few seats available.
